It’s a different time a year!  Take note that this year’s workshop has moved to May!

The annual FDOT/FPTA/CUTR Professional Development Workshop will be held on May 19-20, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Hotel at the University of South Florida in Tampa .  This one-stop-workshop offers public transportation professionals an excellent opportunity to learn from industry experts, attend professional development training, learn about research updates, and network with their peers.

As described in the workshop’s “Transit at a Crossroads” theme, many of this year’s sessions will focus on transit’s need to strategically plan and position itself as a result of tough economic times.  Workshop sessions will spotlight sustaining transit’s future by focusing on customer service, employee morale, working with what you have, tactical marketing, and innovative transit planning.

Registration will begin in February.  There is no registration fee to attend the Workshop.  Brochures and registration announcements will be e-mailed directly to you.  If you have any questions, please contact Amber Reep at (813) 974-9823 or reep@cutr.usf.edu
